Volleyball Hosts Wartburg Quad

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (16-3 overall) hosts its annual home tournament Saturday. The Knights welcome #24 Augsburg (13-4), Coe (17-3) and St. Olaf (7-8).

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 6-4 over Augsburg and St. Olaf leads 11-13 but Wartburg has won the last four-straight meetings.

A Look at the Teams
Augsburg: Ashley Peper is the team's leading hitter with 239 kills while Colleen Ourada and Jessica Lillquist join her in triple digits with 198 and 115 kills, respectively. Courtney Lemke has 548 set assists, Mackensie Menke has 19 service aces and 290 digs.

Coe: Rachel Schaefer leads her team with 225 kills. Five other Kohawks join her in triple digit kills. Mackenzie Harbaugh has 668 set assists as she runs the team's offense. She is also the team's leading server with 46 aces while Alissa Wittenburg has a team-best 324 digs.

St. Olaf: Devon Flohrs and Maggie Prunty lead the team with 153 and 114 kills, respectively. Kersten Bork and Audrey Faulhaber have 296 and 218 set assists, respectively as they run the team's offense. Abby Slack has a team-best 15 service aces and 335 digs.

Wartburg: Senior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) has a team-high 229 kills and 3.47 kills/set average. Sophomore Claire Willenbring (Dyersville), junior Kayln Ertz (Mediapolis) and Kaity Brouwer (Dike, Iowa) join her in triple digit kills with 166, 115 and 105, respectively. Junior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) has 503 set assists and Willenbring has a team-best 29 service aces. Senior Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) is close behind with 27 aces and junior Jamie Farley (Cedar Falls) has 308 digs.
