WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team (9-5-4 overall, 4-2-1 IIAC) shutout Buena Vista (3-12-3, 0-6-1) 3-0 Tuesday night.

Sophomore Olivia Jansen (Johnsburg, Ill.) put the Knights on the board at 10:54 as she put her shot in the lower left corner of the net. Freshman Morgan Neuendorf (Waverly) had the assist.

Junior Kerri Golinghorst (Dixon) helped double the team's lead with her goal at 39:06.

Madison Astgen netted the final goal of the game at 74:45 on an assist from Golinghorst.

Freshman Beth Crow (North Liberty) and senior Katie Reinhardt (Waverly) combined for the shutout.

The Orange and Black solidified the No. 3 seed for the Iowa Conference tournament and will host Coe on Saturday.
