STORM LAKE, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (23-9 overall, 5-2 IIAC) solidifed the No. 2 seed in the Iowa Conference tournament with its 3-2 (13-25,25-19,25-20,21-25,15-7), win over Buena Vista (20-9, 5-2) Tuesday.

Senior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), junior Katy Brouwer (Dike) and sophomore Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) each had nine kills on the night.

Junior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) had 24 set assists and freshman Maria Brown (Peosta) had 14 as they co-ran the team's offense.

The Knights clinched a first-round bye and will host a semifinal match next Thursday at 7 p.m.
