MOUNT VERNON, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (24-10 overall) split its matches at Cornell's Invite Saturday.

The Knights were swept by host-Cornell (25-18,25-19,25-18), but then swept Wheaton in the final match of the day (26-24,25-21,26-24).

Against the Rams, senior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) had a team-high 13 kills. Junior Jamie Farley (Cedar Falls) had a team-best 15 digs and sophomore Anne Buscher (West Des Moines) joined her in double digits with 11.

Against Wheaton, Wilson again had 13 kills and a .545 hitting percentage. Junior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) had 18 assists and freshman Maria Brown (Peosta) had 16 as they co-ran the offense.

The Orange and Black return to the court Thursday in the Iowa Conference Tournament semifinal match. They will learn their opponent after Tuesday's first-round match.
