Notes:
-Junior Logan Schrader (Killdeer, Ill.) surpassed the 1,000 rushing mark for his career on the day on his 44-yard carry in the fourth quarter.
-This was the eighth NCAA playoff victory for Wartburg under Coach Willis and 11th in program history.
-This was the most points St. Thomas has allowed in the seven-year Glenn Caruso era (86 games).
-James Garlock had an interception on the Tommies' second drive of the day that the Knights capitalized on and had their second score of the game.
-St. Thomas attempted an on-side kick in the third quarter that Wartburg recovered.
-The Tommies attempted another on-side kick late in the fourth quarter that they were successful in recovering.
-However, Wartburg junior Logan Pitz had a game-clinching interception on 3-7 from the Wartburg 39.
-Brandon Domeyer had three touchdowns on the day and had his fourth 100-yard game of the season as he finished with 138.
-Schrader finished 11-21-0 for 168 yards. He has thrown for triple digits in every game this season.
-Taylor Jacobsmeier led the receivers with 109 yards on seven catches.
-This marked Wartburg's first home playoff game since 2010 and first home playoff win since 2003.
-The Knights will face St. John's next Saturday at noon. Game site will be announced Sunday.
