DUBUQUE, Iowa-- Senior Rachael Wauer (Bettendorf) scored Wartburg's lone goal in the 2-1 loss to Dubuque Wednesday at the Iowa Conference tournament semifinal game.

The Knights end the season 10-6-4 overall.

The Spartans were the first team to strike with their goal at 39:46 to take the 1-0 lead at halftime.

Wauer evened the score at 66:43 but Dubuque rallied to score the game-winner at 69:49.

The Orange and Black held the advantage in shots at 15-11.

The Spartans advanced to the conference tournament championship game Saturday.
