WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball (24-11 overall) fell 3-1 to Buena Vista (25-10) Thursday in the Iowa Conference tournament semifinal match.

The Knights took the first set 25-20, before BV claimed the next three 25-16, 25-21 and 25-22.

Senior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) had a team-best 14 kills and junior Kaity Brouwer (Dike) had nine. Freshman Maria Brown (Peosta) had a match-high three service aces.

Both setters finished with double-doubles as Brown had 20 assists and 10 digs and junior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) had 18 assists and 12 digs.

As a team, the Orange and Black held the team advantage in blocks (10-3).
