Box ScoreMANKATO, Minn.-- Four Wartburg players finished in double digits in the 93-53 win Sunday. Sophomore Nick Webber (Peosta) led the way with 17 points, classmate Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) followed with 16, freshman Nate Woeste (Atkins) had 15 and sophomore Lenart Kalen (Skofja Loka, Slovenia) had 14.
Woeste and Kalen each finished a perfect 5-5 from the field. Webber and Woeste tied their career highs and Kalen set a new career mark with their point totals.
The Knights took the 39-26 lead at halftime and led by as many as 48 points in the second frame.
As a team, the Orange and Black's defense held the Vikings to a team field goal percentage of .299 and .115 from beyond the arc.
Wartburg moved to 7-2 on the season while Bethany Lutheran fell to 0-8.
The Knights return to action at the DIII Hoops Classic in Las Vegas against Hampden-Sydney on Dec. 28.
