Box ScoreLAS VEGAS-- Senior Clay Cook (West Branch) recorded his third double-double of the season Tuesday as he had 19 points and 17 rebounds in the 68-54 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran. Cook had 13 of his total points and eight rebounds in the second frame alone.
Two fellow Wartburg players, sophomores Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and Nick Webber (Peosta) joined Cook in double digits with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
The Warriors led 30-24 at halftime and the Knights brought the margin to four at 11:15 and 10:14 to play. A 10-2 run by Wisconsin Lutheran over the next four minutes helped to build its lead to double digits.
The Orange and Black are off from competition until Wednesday, Jan. 7 when they host Luther at 8 p.m. to open the Iowa Conference portion of their schedule.
