WAVERLY, Iowa-- Fittingly on Senior Day, Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) and Thomas Perkins (Sun Valley, Nev.) led Wartburg with 18 and 10 points, respectively in the 79-66 loss to Luther Saturday.

Diemer scored 12 of his total points in the second half alone and finished 10-12 at the charity stripe on the day.

His free throw total was just two shy of his career mark.

The Knights led 30-28 at halftime, but the Norse outscored them, 51-36, in the second frame.

The Orange and Black held the team advantage in three-point field goal percentage (.348 vs. .231).

Wartburg takes to the road next week for its final two regular-season games. The Knights travel to face Coe Wednesday at 8 p.m.
