WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 4 ranked Wartburg women's indoor track and field team seeks its 12th straight and 12th overall Iowa Conference Championship and the No. 17 men's squad seeks its eighth title this weekend.
The women's team won the title for the 11th straight year (since the championship began in 2003) and Central edged out Wartburg by two points at last year's conference championship.
Luther College will serve as the host for this year's meet.

Returning individual champions:
Women: Kristin Canning won the 800, Camesha Goods won the 55m hurdles, Kayla Hemann won both the shot put and weight throw and Mia Purnell claimed the pentathlon.
Men: Daniel Bonthius won the 800, Jonas Elusme claimed the high jump, Colt Feltes won both the shot put and weight throw and Jacoby Firkins was the champion in the heptathlon.
