Men and Women's Indoor Track and Field win IIAC Conference Title

Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field both win Iowa Conference Championship Sunday.

Heptathlon: Jacoby Firkins, 4682 (NEW SCHOOL RECORD. Broke the old mark of 4,677 pts. set by Tate DeMeulenaere in 2012).

Shot Put: Kayla Hemann, 13.92
High Jump: Kailey Kladivo, 1.64m (5'4 1/2")

Wartburg also claimed two relay titles on the day:

1,600 relay: Libbey Schubert, Taylor Moore, Kayla Kregel, Tashina McAllister: 3:56.17


Head Coach Marcus Newsom was named the Conference's Coach of the Year, Jonas Elusme and Colt Felts shared the men's MVP in field events, Kayla Hemann was named the women's MVP in field events and Libby Schubert was the women's MVP in the running events.
