WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (7-1 overall) travels to Mount Vernon for the Cornell Invite this Friday and Saturday.

Friday, the Knights will face Cornell at 4 p.m., and the second-ranked team in the nation, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 6 p.m.. Saturday, the Orange and Black play the University of Northwestern (Minn.) at 10 a.m., and the nationally ranked No. 16 Saint Thomas University (Minn.) at noon.

The Series
Against Cornell the Knights lead the series (26-7-1) but have dropped the last 3 of 4 to the Rams.

The Knights lead a close series against Stevens Point by one game (5-4) but have lost the past three to the Pointers.

Against Northwestern the Knights lead the series (4-1) and have won the past four matches.

Saint Thomas has been dominant in their series with the Knights and has won the last 12 matches. The Tommies lead the series (15-4).

Senior Bailey Wilson leads the team with 104 kills and averages over 3.5 kills/ set.
