Junior Brittany Frush (La Porte City) gave the Knights the early 1-0 lead with her sixth goal of the season at 8:37. Senior Brinkly Werkman (Marion) was credited with the assist.
This remained the score through halftime until freshman Sarah Schwarz (Eldridge) netted her first collegiate goal on a pass from classmate Alyssa Hewitt (Clive) at 74:42.
Freshman Beth Crow (North Liberty) earned her second shutout win of the season.
The Orange and Black return to competition Sunday when they travel to face Grinnell.
