The Knights brought the Auggies' four-game winning streak to a hault and handed them their first loss of the year.
Junior Brittany Frush (La Porte City) netted the first goal of the game on a pass from senior Ashley Kerns (Ames) at 15:56.
Neundorf scored her first collegiate goal at 35:26 as she hit a left-footed shot in the right hand side of the net. Senior Ashley Frush (La Porte City) had the assist.
The score remained 2-0 through halftime until Augsburg scored at 61:34 to slice the lead in half.
Neundorf gave the Orange and Black the 3-1 lead at 77:49 with her shot in the lower left side and sophomore Madison Astgen (Dubuque) connected on a pass from classmate Olivia Jansen (Johnsburg, Ill.) at 78:46 to seal the win.
Wartburg held the narrow advantage in shots at 13-12.
The Knights return to the pitch Saturday on the road against St. Ben's at 12:30 p.m.
