WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team won the Iowa Conference regular season title Tuesday in its 1-0 win over Luther. The Knights moved to 13-4-1 on the year and 6-1-0 in Iowa Conference play and also increased their winning streak to six.



This marked the first regular season title for the program since 2011 and third regular season title in school history.

"It was a very competitive conference season that came down to the last night," said head coach Tiffany Pins. "It was a tough game between to outstanding teams.

"I'm extremely proud of this group of young women they worked incredibly hard all year," she continued. "We are a family here at Wartburg and I feel blessed to work with such great women everyday!"
