The game was tied five times in the first 11 minutes and the Norse took the 25-22 lead into the locker room at halftime.
In the second frame, the margin reamined in single digits until Luther hit four consecutive treys to build its lead to 17 with 10:43 to play. The Knights battled back and were withing six with 3:54 to play (50-44). The Norse sealed the win as they made all six free throws down the stretch.
The Orange and Black held the team advantages in field goal percentage (.377 vs .306) and steals (5-4).
Wartburg returns to the court Saturday on the road against Central at 4 p.m. in the regular season finale.
