Knights travel to Central for IIAC Tourney

The Wartburg men's basketball team (13-12 overall, 6-8 IIAC) travels to face Central (15-10 overall, 8-6 IIAC) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the opening round of the IIAC Tournament.

The Series
The Knights own the series lead at 61-42. The Dutch won the two games played in the regular season.

A Look at the Teams
Wartburg
Sophomore Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) paces the team with 14.8 points per game. Senior Clay Cook (West Branch) and sophomore Nick Webber (Peosta) also average double figures with 12.6 and 11.6 points, respectively.

Cook is the team's leading rebounder with 8.7 boards per game, and Webber has a team-best 67 assists.

Central
Colby Taylor leads his team with 16.6 points per game. Nile Eckermann, Aaron Rosenstiel, and Kyle Newendorp join him in double digits with 15.4, 10.9, and 10.4 points per game, respectively.

Taylor averages a double-double with 9.7 rebounds per game.
