WartburgThree Knights are averaging above .400 as freshman Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) leads the team with her .438 average and sophomores Kirby Meyer (Charles City) and Taylor Smola (Stevens Point, Wis.) join her with .402 and .400, respectively. Freshman Kristie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) and sophomore Courtney Belk (Bettendorf) complete the above .300 hitters with her averages of .382 and .333.
Junior Micaela Forsyth (Charles City) and Belk have a team-best eight doubles and senior Britt Schoon (Waukee) has a team-high four homeruns and 24 RBIs.
Senior Paige Blom (Reasnor) is the team's leading pitcher with her 11 wins and 2.86 ERA. She also has 64 strikeouts in 103.2 innings pitched.
As a team, the Knights are 24th in Division III in fielding percentage and Blom is 13th with her five shutouts.
Buena VistaMarissa Schmidt, Jeanne Bramhall and Stephanie Hayden all average above .300 at .364, .325 and .316, respectively.
Jenna Falline is the leading pitcher with a 3.66 ERA.
