WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg co-head volleyball coach, Jennifer Walker, earned her 400th career victory in the 3-0 sweep over St. Olaf Friday.
Junior Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) and senior Krystal Graves (Cedar Falls) led the team with 16 and 12 kills, respectively. Willenbring also had a match-high three services aces as the Knights tallied nine in the match.
Senior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) recorded 39 set assists and 10 digs while classmate Jamie Farley (Cedar Falls) had a team-best 19 digs. Sophomore Maria Brown (Peosta) rounded out the defenders in double digits with 10 digs.
As a team, the Orange and Black held the Oles to a .144 hitting percentage, which included a .086 hitting percentage in the first set alone. Wartburg held the advantages in kills (48-23), hitting percentage (.275 vs. .144), assists (46-22), service aces (9-2) and digs (62-51).
