ROCK ISLAND, Ill.-- The Wartburg volleyball team had its four-match winning streak snapped in the 3-1 loss to Augustana (Ill.) Tuesday. The Knights claimed the first set 25-17, but then dropped the next three: 25-20, 25-21, 25-12.

Junior Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) had a team-high 11 kills, senior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) had 26 set assists running the offense. Classmate Jamie Farley (Cedar Falls) had 26 digs and Kaity Brouwer (Dike) had a team-best six block assists.

As a team, the Orange and Black held the narrow advantage in blocks, 8-7.

Wartburg returns to the court Saturday against UW-Stout and UW-Platteville at the Loras Tournament.
