WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's basketball team (9-6 overall, 2-2 IIAC) hosts Simpson (9-6, 2-2) Wednesday at 8 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 70-29 against Simpson and the Knights claimed both meetings last season.

Wartburg
Junior Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) has a team-best 15.1 PPG. Classmate Nick Webber (Peosta) and Nate Woeste (Atkins) join him in double digits with 13.3 and 10.7 PPG, respectively. Woeste leads the team on the glass with 4.4 rebounds/game.

Simpson
Sam Amsbaugh paces his team with 14.6 PPG. Dillon Gretzky and Ryan Skaar join him in double figures at 13.2 and 10.6 PPG, respectively. Gretzky is the team's leading rebounder at 5.9 rebounds/game.

Amsbaugh is the seventh-leading scorer in the IIAC at 19.0 PPG.

Wartburg is ranked within the top 100 in six statistical categories, as released by the NCAA on Tuesday.
 
The Knights are 37th in turnovers forced (17.40), 40th in field-goal percentage (47.7), 59th in total steals (130), 60th in steals per game (8.7), 88th in turnover margin (1.8) and 97th in scoring offense (79.2).
