Wartburg Looks to Stay Undefeated at Home Against Luther

WAVERLY, Iowa -- The Wartburg women's soccer team (6-2-1 overall, 2-0 IIAC) hosts Luther (6-2-1, 2-0) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Series
Luther holds the series lead at 22-8-1, but Wartburg took both meetings in 2015, winning 1-0 and 2-0, respectively.

Wartburg
The Knights are a perfect 5-0 at home this season. Junior Beth Crow (North Liberty) earned her 23rd career shutout on Saturday, making her the program's all-time shutout leader. Sophomore Alyssa Drewelow (Cedar Rapids) leads in scoring with four goals. Sophomore Nicole Adair (Reinbeck) and junior Alyssa Hewitt (Clive) have contributed two goals each. Drewelow and Hewitt have also added two assists each.

Luther
The Norse won their previous four matches. Ellie Bunz is the top scorer for Luther, recording eight goals on the season. Melissa Chasse and Marta Springer each have tallied four goals. Lauren Hughes has the most assists with three. Goalie Lauren Thormodsgard has started each game for the Norse.
