Junior Connor Schrader (Lake Zurich, Ill.) continues to lead the team on the ground with 562 yards and eight touchdowns. Senior Jake Haberman (Clarion) has 324 yards, freshman Dylan Binion (Albany, Ill.) has 295, and sophomore Matt Sacia (Eldridge) has 282.
Sacia also has thrown for 2,404 yards and 20 TDs, and both areas currently stand sixth-best for a single season. His 185 pass completions are tied for fourth with current offensive coordinator and Wartburg Athletics Hall of Fame member, Matt Wheeler's mark from the 1999 season.
Junior Griffin Brennecke (Marion) leads the receivers with 855 yards and six scores, while classmate Riley Brockway (Postville) has caught 53 passes.
Senior Brendan Schott (Coggon) leads the defense with 82 total tackles, and classmate Dalton Ciavarelli (Clarksville) has a team-best 11.5 tackles for a loss of 45 yards.
Buena Vista
Cody Mowery is the team's leading rusher with 930 yards and three scores.
Quarterback Cole Miller has thrown for 1,334 yards and 13 TDs, while Jalen Henningsen has been his top target with 930 yards on 66 receptions for eight TDs.
Zach Mueggenberg is the leading tackler with 74 total tackles.
