DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Wartburg women's soccer team (10-4-4) tied 1-1 with Loras (11-3-3) on Wednesday in the Iowa Conference Semifinals. The Knights were victorious 2-0 in the shootout to advance to Saturday's IIAC Championship game.
 
The teams remained scoreless in the first half. Sophomore Alyssa Drewelow (Cedar Rapids) found the back of the net in the second half, her sixth of the season, to take a 1-0 lead over the Duhawks. Loras answered to tie the game 1-1 during regulation. The game went into two overtimes and remained tied, forcing a shootout. Wartburg made two of three PKs and junior Beth Crow (North Liberty) stopped all four of Loras' attempts to give the Knights a 2-0 victory.
