WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (21-5 overall) will make its 10th appearance in the NCAA Tournament against Gustavus Adolphus (23-7) Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
Both teams earned their respective conferences' automatic bids by winning their conference tournaments.
Northwestern-St. Paul will serve as host for the regional. The other teams at this site are: host-Northwestern, St. Norbert, UW-LaCrosse, St. Thomas, Concordia Wisconsin and defending National Champions, California Lutheran.

The Series
The Orange and Black hold the all-time series over Gustavus, 6-1. The Knights were defeated by the Gusties, 3-2 on Sept. 10 in the Loras Tournament.
Wartburg
The Knights are led by junior Aryn Jones (Marion) with 285 kills and a set average of 3.13 kills. Jones has also tallied 91 total blocks on the season (50 solo, 41 assists).
Wartburg's offense is led by junior Maria Brown (Peosta) and sophomore Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) with 453 and 443 assists, respectively.
The defensive effort for the Knights is led by sophomore Kathryn Nasby (Jackson, Minn.) with 481 digs and sophomore Lizzy Blough (Dike) with 411 digs.
From behind the service line, Blough has a team-high 36 service aces.
Gustavus
Gustavus' front row attack is led by Lauren Hanson with 398 kills, Taylor Trautman with 289 and Hanna Albers with 288.
Sam Haugen has a team-high 87 total blocks (10 solo, 77 assists).
Brittany Luethmers leads the team in digs with 589.
The Gusties' offense is led by Nora Holtan with 1,215 assists to date.
