Wartburg holds the 71-30 series advantage over Simpson. When the teams met last season, they each nabbed a road victory. The Storm won 80-75 and the Knights won 95-87.

The Knights are undefeated in their first six games, tying the program's best start to the season since 2001-01. Wartburg has averaged 95.3 points per contest and has held opponents to an 84.7 average. Sophomore Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) is the team's leading scorer, averaging 18.8 points per game. Sabus is currently .673 from the field and .782 from the free-throw line on the season.  Senior Nick Webber (Peosta) has the most assists with 20. Junior Clifton Brown (Mims, Fla.) is averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game.

Simpson
The Storm are 3-1 at home. Sam Amsbaugh leads Simpson in scoring, with an average of 26.0 points per game. Sabonis Smith follows with a 10.2 average. Amsbaugh also leads in rebounds per game, averaging 9.3 grabs.
