Knights Host Norse

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The men's basketball team  (14-10 overall, 7-6 IIAC) will face Luther College (5-19, 4-9) Saturday at 4 p.m. at home in the final game of the regular season. The seniors, Marc Ellis, Tyler Gosnell and Logan Pitz, will be recognized at halftime of the women's game.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 72-29. The Norse won the first game this season 71-51.
 
Wartburg
Junior Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) continues to lead the Knights with 16.1 PPG. Classmate Nick Webber (Peosta) follows with 12.1 PPG and sophomore Nate Woeste (Atkins) has 10.4. Woeste and Cannon are tied for team-high rebounds per game at 4.5. After a win on Wednesday, the Knights secured their spot in the Iowa Conference Tournament, beginning next week.
 
Luther
Leading the Norse is senior Nathan Meyer with 12.5 PPG. Sophomore Christian Wright averages 5.3 rebounds per game.
