WAVELRY, IOWA---Wartburg men's basketball (15-10 overall) will host Buena Vista University (11-15) Thursday at 7 p.m. in the IIAC tournament semifinals. Wartburg holds the No. 2 seed and received a bye in the first round. The sixth-seed Beavers took down Simpson on Wednesday in the first-round, claiming the match 87-58.

The SeriesThe Knights hold the all-time series lead at 61-49. Wartburg swept both games this season with the Beavers. Thursdays game marks the 13
th meeting between the two teams all-time in the conference tournament.

WartburgWartburg's top-scorer is junior Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) with 15.7 PPG. Classmate Nick Webber (Peosta) and sophomore Nate Woeste (Atkins) follow with 12.0 and 10.4 PPG, respectively. Woeste also leads the team on the glass with 4.6 rebounds per game.

Buena VistaLeading the team is senior Nick Clark with 20.0 PPG and 141 assists. Junior Kennedy Drey with 14.3 PPG and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game. Junior Sean Morgan joins them in double-figures with 11.2 PPG.
