Knights Travel to Face Storm

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (11-8 overall, 4-4 IIAC) travel to face Simpson (12-7, 5-3) tonight at 8 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 70-30, but the Storm won the meeting earlier this season, 80-75 on Jan. 20.

Junior Jordan Cannon (Bollingbrook, Ill.) leads his squad with 14.4 PPG, classmate Nick Webber (Peosta) follows at 12.9 and sophomore Nate Woeste (Atkins) has 10.8.

Woeste leads the team on the boards with 4.4 rebounds/game and Webber has a team-high 50 assists.

Simpson
Sam Amsbaugh paces the team with 14.8 PPG and 5.9 rebounds per game. Dillon Gretzky follows with 14.5 PPG and Ryan Skaar joins the duo in double digits at 10.5 PPG.

Wartburg is ranked within the top 100 in seven statistical categories, as released by the NCAA on Tuesday.
 
The Knights are 37th in field-goal percentage (48.0), 40th in turnovers forced (16.89), 67th in free-throw percentage (72.9), 82nd in scoring offense (79.9), 83rd in total steals (151), 90th in turnover margin (1.8) and 91st in steals per game (7.9).
