WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (11-17 overall, 2-2 IIAC) travels to face Coe (17-7, 1-5) Saturday at 1 p.m. and UW-Stout (9-13) Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Series
Coe owns the slight lead in the all-time series at 39-34.
The series is tied at 4-4 between the Knights and the Blue Devils and the teams split the twinbill last season.

Wartburg
Sophomore Mara Forsyth (Charles City) leads the Knights with her .462 batting average, two triples, four homeruns and 28 RBIs. Classmate Erica Countryman (Plainfield, Ill.) is the second-leading hitter at .452 while sophomore Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) is at .400. Twin sister Kristie is hitting .367 and freshman Kailee O'Brien (Altoona) rounds out those above .300 at .316.
Sophomore Kimberly Wedeking (Clarskville) leads the pitchers with a 3.89 ERA and is 6-9 in 90.1 innings of work.
Coe
Allie O'Brien leads the team with her .453 batting average which includes three triples and co-leads the team with 19 RBIs. Paige Wieland is the second-leading hitter at .429, Mallor McArtor follows at .403, Maliah Fligg is at .371 and Maddy Ryan rounds out those above .300 at .306. Fligg also leads the pitching staff with a 1.48 ERA and is 6-1 in the circle.
UW-Stout
Beth Wood paces the team with her .412 batting average and 14 RBIs. Rachel Thomas is the second-leading hitter at .378, Kaylee Francois is at .341, Kelly Austin hits .333, Heather Bol is at .328, Alicia Meyer follows at .310 and Karley Wiensch rounds out those above .300 at .308. Tori Workman leads the pitchers with a 2.19 ERA and is 4-7 in 76.2 innings pitched.
National Stat Rankings
Wartburg ranks in the Top 100 of two national stat categories, the NCAA released Tuesday. The Knights are: 17th in stolen bases/game (2.21) and 89th in doubles/game (0.36).
Individually, Forsyth is 76th in RBIs (28) and 89th in slugging percentage (.769).
