WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (16-22 overall, 6-6 IIAC) travels to face Central (21-13, 7-5) Sunday at 2 p.m. in the final regular-season doubleheader. The Knights have already qualified for the IIAC tournament next weekend, though seeds will be determined after this weekend's games.

Sophomore Erica Countryman (Plainfield, Ill.) continues to lead her team with a .459 batting average and classmate Mara Forysth (Charles City) follows at .426 and a team-best 36 RBIs.
Sophomore twin sisters Katie and Kristie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) are at .333 and .327 while freshmen Kailee O'Brien (Altoona) and Hannah Blaske (Bettendorf) round out those above .300 at .314 and .300, respectively.
Junior Kimberly Wedeking (Clarksville) leads the pitchers with a 3.78 ERA, nine wins and 15 complete games.
Central
Tabitha Taylor leads her team with a .353 average and is second with 20 RBIs. Sarah Bowen and Jess Wyant join her above .300 at .333 and .305, respectively. Ka Olson leads the pitchers with a 2.24 ERA, 15 wins and 12 complete games in the circle.
