ST. PAUL-- No. 18 Wartburg and Macalester drew a scoreless double overtime tie Thursday in the season opener.

The Knights held the advantage in shots through regulation, 12-9, but neither team was able to capitalize.

Junior Beth Crow (North Liberty) earned her 19th career shutout in the net for the Orange and Black, which ranks second-best in program history. She needs three more to tie the record.

Wartburg hosts Carleton Wednesday in its home opener.
