WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg volleyball team (4-3 overall) is set to host the Knights Classic on Friday and Saturday. Wartburg will face Augsburg (4-5) at 7 p.m. Friday and St. Olaf (7-3) at 10 a.m., followed by Saint Benedict (4-4) at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Wartburg
The Knights are coming off of a 3-1 loss against Augustana on Tuesday.
Junior Aryn Jones (Marion) leads the team in kills with 72 and an average of 2.77 kills/set.
Co-running the offense, junior Maria Brown (Peosta) and sophomore Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) have 123 and 103 assists respectively.
Leading the defense for the Knights is sophomore Kathryn Nasby (Jackson, Minn.) with 115 digs on the year.
From the service line, sophomore Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the team with 13 aces.
Augsburg
Taylor Linn leads the Auggies in kills with 87 and averages 2.64 kills/set. Linn also has 12 aces from the service line and 27 block assists on the year.
Leading Augsburg in sets is Morgan Malley, as she has 195 assists to date.
For Augsburg on defense, Macey Terhell leads the team with 181 digs.
St. Olaf
In the front row, the Oles are led by Megan Grimes with 114 kills and an average of 3.26 kills/set. Lauren Rewers follows with 101 kills and an average of 2.89/set.
Leading the offense for St. Olaf is Renata Erickson with 264 assists.
From the service line, Angela Fusselman has 25 aces.
Abby Slack leads the Oles' defensive effort with 166 digs.
Saint Benedict
Saint Benedict is led by Liz Schultz in the front row with 91 kills and an average of 3.14/set. Briana Schmiesing has 80 kills and an average of 2.76/set.
While running the offense for the Blazers, Megan Pekarek has a team-best 264 assists.
For the defensive efforts, Haley LaValle has 127 digs to date.
