Wartburg Takes On Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa—Wartburg (6-4 overall, 0-0 IIAC) will travel to Cedar Rapids to take on Coe (6-5, 1-0 IIAC) Wednesday at 7 p.m to begin conference play.

The Series
The Orange and Black lead the series 33-8-1. Wartburg has won five of the last six meetings. Coe last defeated the Knights in 2014.

Wartburg
Junior Aryn Jones (Marion) leads the team with 106 kills and an average of 3.03 kills per set. Jones also leads the team in solo blocks with 19.

Sophomore Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) and junior Maria Brown (Peosta) co-run the offense and have 146 and 167 assists, respectively.

Brown and sophomore Lizzy Blough (Dike) have 16 service aces each.

Sophomore Kathryn Nasby (Jackson, Minn.) has 171 digs to date.

Coe
The Kohawks are led by Lindsey Koch with 114 kills and an average of 2.92/set.

While running the Coe offense, Hanna Reese has totaled 389 assists.

At the net, Jaimee Rindy leads the Kohawks in solo blocks with 14.

Ali Arns leads the team with 193 digs.

From behind the service line, Aryn Meisinger has 14 aces.

National Stat Rankings Released
The Orange and Black rank in the top 100 of five statistical categories released by the NCAA.

Wartburg ranks 8th in digs per set (19.89), 32nd in team attacks per set (37.46), 64th in blocks per set (1.91), 83rd in opposite hitting percentage (0.120) and 98th in assists per set (11.00).

Individually, one Knight ranked in the top 100 of one category.

Nasby ranked 88th in digs per set (4.89).
