The Series
Wartburg holds the series against Buena Vista, 40-11. The Knights won the most recent meeting between the two teams last season, 3-2.
Nebraska Wesleyan holds the series over the Wartburg, 8-14-1. The Orange and Black won the last meeting against the Prairie Wolves in 2012, 3-0.

The Knights are coming off of an undefeated weekend at the IIAC-NACC Crossover, sweeping all opponents in sets, 12-0.
Wartburg swept Iowa Conference honors this week. Junior Aryn Jones (Marion) was named the IIAC Female Athlete of the Week and top offensive player of the week. Sophomore Kathryn Nasby (Jackson, Minn.) was named the top defensive player of the week.
Jones leads the team in kills with 158 and a set average of 3.10. Jones also has 53 total blocks (26 solo, 27 assists).
Junior Maria Brown (Peosta) has 244 assists and 23 service aces to date.
For Wartburg's defensive effort, Nasby has 259 digs.
Buena Vista
The Beavers (10-8, 1-0 IIAC) are led by Maddie Bardole and Jade Schaap with 187 kills each and a set average of 2.92/set.
Offensively, Ashley Petlon has a team-high 307 assists.
The Beavers are led by Sydnee Donnelli with 236 digs.
From the service line, Schaap also has 31 aces.
Nebraska Wesleyan
The match against Nebraska Wesleyan will mark the first meeting between the two teams as IIAC opponents.
Malory Dahl leads the team in kills with 168 and a set average of 3.29/set.
While running the Prairie Wolves offense, Taylor Crandall has 483 assists.
On the defense for Nebraska Wesleyan, Kennedy Hegert has 301 digs.
In the front row, Callie Meyer and Kerrie Sestak have 31 total blocks each.

Wartburg ranked 11th in digs per set (19.47), 41st in blocks per set (2.04), 42nd in opposite hitting percentage (0.105), 53rd in team attacks per set (36.53), 62nd in match win-loss percentage (0.733), 78th in assists per set (11.24) and 94th in kills per set (11.90).
Individually, Jones and Nasby were ranked in categories by the NCAA.
Jones ranked 46th in total blocks (53), 56th in blocks per set (1.04) and 68th in hitting percentage (0.331).
Nasby ranked 72nd in total digs (259) and 77th in digs per set (5.08).
