ST. PAUL-- The Wartburg volleyball team (3-1 overall) split its final two matches at Bethel's Invite Saturday.

The Knights swept Williamette 25-18, 25-20, 25-11 as sophomore Lizzy Blough (Dike) led the team with 10 kills. Both Maria Brown (Peosta) and Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) recorded double doubles as Brown had 17 assists and 12 digs and Erbes had 14 and 10, respectively.

In the final match of the weekend, #12 Bethel won 3-1 as the Orange and Black claimed the second set: 25-15, 19-25, 25-11, 25-18. Junior Aryn Jones (Marion) had 13 kills and senior Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) had 12. Brown and Erbes each had 18 assists as they co-ran the offense.

Jones was named to the All-Tournament team.

Wartburg returns to action next Saturday at Loras' Tournament.
