STORM LAKE, Iowa-- Wartburg (12-4 overall, 2-0 IIAC) moved its winning streak to eight and remained undefeated in Iowa Conference play in its 3-0 sweep over Buena Vista (11-9, 2-1) Friday.

Sophomore Lizzy Blough (Dike) and junior Aryn Jones (Marion) co-led the team with seven kills each. Sophomore Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) was the next-leading hitter with six kills and added two service aces. Erbes had 17 set assists and junior Maria Brown (Peosta) had 11 as they co-ran the offense.

The Knights held the team advantages in hitting percentage (.295 vs. .093), service aces (5-1), digs (40-36) and blocks (9-4).

The Orange and Black concludes their road trip when they face Nebraska Wesleyan tomorrow at 4 p.m..
