Wartburg to Play Buena Vista on the Road

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg College men's basketball team (11-3 overall, 3-2 IIAC) will face-off against Buena Vista (7-6, 3-1) on Wednesday in Storm Lake at 8 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series advantage over Buena Vista 61-49. Wartburg won both meetings last season, 83-80 in overtime on the road and 88-60 at home.

Wartburg
During Saturday's win over Dubuque, seven Wartburg players scored double digits and the team combined for 25 total assists. Senior Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) continues to have the highest scoring average per game with 17.3 points. Cannon also leads in rebounds per game with 5.2 grabs. Sophomore Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) has tallied the most three-pointers, making 25 on the season. Senior Nick Webber (Peosta) has the most assists for the Knights with 38 recorded.

Buena Vista
The Beavers average 82.4 points per game. Kennedy Drey is the team's high scorer with 17.0 points per game. Thomas Wisecup and David Jeffries follow with 13.7 and 13.5 points.

Junior Nate Woeste (Atkins, Iowa) ranks 94th in free throws made (57). Cannon  ranks 34th in total field goals made (98), 68th in field goal percentage (56.3), and 81st in total points (242).
