No. 17/20 Wartburg Travels to Face Norse

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 17/20 Wartburg football team (6-0 overall, 4-0 IIAC) travels to face Luther (5-2, 3-1), Saturday at 12 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 43-30-1. The Knights have won 10 of the last 11.

Sophomore Dylan Binion (Albany, Ill.) leads the team on the ground with 620 yards and six touchdowns.

Junior quarterback Matt Sacia (Eldridge) has thrown for 1,645 yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. He has finished with triple-digit passing yards in 13-straight games and in 15 of his last 16, which dates back to last season.

Sacia's top target has been senior Riley Brockway (Postville), who has 680 yards on 50 catches with eight TDs.
 
Senior Rob Rottler (Greene) leads the defense with 60 total tackles. Freshman JoJo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) and junior Peyton Imhoff (Dubuque) have a team-best four interceptions.

Junior Marcus Johnson (Huxley) has a team-best 5.0 TFL.

Career Leader List Watch
Sacia now ranks eighth on the program's career leader list in passing yards (4,384). His 41 passing TDs rank eighth, and his 343 completions are seventh-best.

Brockway's 1,897 receiving yards and 146 receptions both rank fifth-best. He is also third in kick return yards (1,204) and kick returns (56).

Senior Brayton Brandt (Center Point) has made 66 PATs, which is eighth-best.

Luther
Three players have triple digit rushing yards as Anthony Hollingshed has 398, Yassine Ouazzani has 357 and Nick Slavens has 310.

Brady Letney has a team-best 19 completions and Ian Kuykendall has thrown for a team-high 314 yards.

Justin Montgomery leads the receivers with 236 yards on 16 catches and two TDs. Dante Joseph has a team-best 49 tackles.

Senior Brayton Brandt (Center Point) ranks 75th in field goal percentage (.571) and 85th in field goals per game (.67), and classmate Jake Pisarik (Mount Vernon) ranks 44th in punting (39.3).

Rottler ranks 53rd in total tackles (10), junior Peyton Imhof (Dubuque) ranks 4th in passes defended (2.3) and 20th in interceptions per game (.7).

Sacia ranks 5th in completion percentage (.712), 11th in passing efficiency (175.7), 17th in points responsible for per game (20), 21st in passing touchdowns (17), 23rd in points responsible for (120), 26th in yards per pass attempt (8.94), 29th in completions per game (21.83), 34th in passing yards (1,645), 35th in total offense (290.5), and 36th in passing yards per game (274.2).

Binion ranks 43rd in rush yards per carry (6.08), 46th in rushing yards (620), 51st in rushing yards per game (103.3), and 61st in rushing touchdowns (6). Sophomore Cedric Dobbins (Waukee) ranks 35th in passes defended (1.7) and 48th in interceptions per game (.5), and McNair ranks 2nd in passes defended (2.5) and 20th in interceptions per game (.7)
