Wartburg Hosts Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (18-5 overall, 6-0 IIAC) hosts Dubuque (26-2, 5-2) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The volleyball senior class will be recognized prior to first serve. With a win, the Knights will be the outright Iowa Conference champions.

The Spartans bring a six-game winning streak into the match, and the Knights have won their last four-straight.

The Series
Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 42-35, and has won the last 10-straight.

Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) has a team-best 343 kills, 3.94 kills/set, .362 hitting percentage and is second with 28 service aces. Junior Lizzy Blough (Dike) joins her in triple digits with 222 kills and a team-high 33 aces. Senior Maddie Miller (Johnston), freshman Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville), and junior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) round out the leading hitters with 150 and 120, and 107 kills, respectively.

Senior Maria Brown (Peosta) leads the setters with 449 assists and Erbes (Urbandale) follows with 418 in the 6-2 system.

Freshman Katie Foster (Charles City) has 451 digs.

Career Leader Lists
Brown has now moved into seventh on the all-time career leader list with 1,695 assists to date.

Dubuque
Karrah Davis is the team's leading hitter with 417 kills. Alyssa Cose has 43 service aces and Jenna Runde has a team-high 432 digs.
