No. 15/18 Wartburg Travels to Buena Vista

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 15/18 Wartburg football team (8-0 overall, 6-0 IIAC) travels to face Buena Vista (3-5, 2-4) Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 46-29-2, and have won the last seven-straight.

Sophomore Dylan Binion (Albany, Ill.) leads the team on the ground with 877 yards and nine touchdowns.

Junior quarterback Matt Sacia (Eldridge) has thrown for 1,964 yards and 19 touchdowns on the season. He has finished with triple-digit passing yards in 14-straight games and in 16 of his last 17, which dates back to last season.

Sacia's top target has been senior Riley Brockway (Postville), who has 778 yards on 59 catches with eight TDs.
 
Senior Rob Rottler (Greene) leads the defense with 78 total tackles. Freshman JoJo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) has a team-best five interceptions.

Senior Tony Anstoetter (Farley) has a team-best 7.5 TFL.

Career Leader List Watch
Sacia now ranks seventh on the program's career leader list in passing yards (4,708). His 43 passing TDs rank seventh, and his 368 completions are sixth-best.

Brockway's 2,000 receiving yards ranks fourth and 155 receptions is third-best. He is also third in kick return yards (1,204) and kick returns (56).

Senior Brayton Brandt (Center Point) has made 69 PATs, which is eighth-best.

Buena Vista
BV enters the game on a three-game losing skid. Quarterback Cole Miller has thrown for 2,401 yards and 16 TDs. TJ Lint leads the receivers with 859 yards on 56 catches for 7 TDs.

Tariq Thomas has 397 rushing yards.

Sacia ranks 17th in completion percentage (.667), 26th in passing efficiency (161.4), 35th in passing touchdowns (19), 41st in yards per pass attempt (8.39), 43rd in points responsible for (132), 47th in completions per game (19.5), 48th in points responsible for per game (16.5), 50th in passing yards (1,964), 55th in passing yards per game (245.5), and 60th in total offense (260.3).
