The Series
The all-time series betweeen the Knights and Blugolds is tied at four. Wartburg won last season's meeting over then-ranked No. 10 UW-Eau Claire, 103-90.
Wartburg
The Orange and Black return to their home court after a 3-0 road swing against Graceland, Waldorf and Dubuque.
Wartburg's offense is powered by four Knights averaging double digits points per game. Senior Sawyer Herman (Monticello) leads the team, netting 12.7 points per game. Junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) tallies 12.3, senior Nate Woeste (Atkins) scores 12.2 and junior Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) nets 10.7. Kickbush also leads the team in assists with 14 on the season.
On the defensive effort for the Orange and Black, Sabus has a team-best 7.5 rebounds per game. Woeste has a second-best 5.5 grabs per game. Junior Josh Gehling (Dyersville) and senior Clifton Brown (Mims, Fla.) each have five blocks on the season.
UW-Eau Claire
The UW-Eau Claire offense is co-lead by George Diekelman and Chris Duff, netting 19.4 and 16.6 points per game, respectively. Diekelman also has a team-best 18 assists this season.
Dikelman is a threat on the other side of the ball, tallying a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game. Duff has five blocks on the year.
