The Knights have a 66-38 all-time series lead over the Spartans. Wartburg was victorious 94-74 at Levick Arena earlier this season.
Playoff Picture
Entering the last week of regular season play, Loras (10-4), Nebraska Wesleyan (10-5) and Simpson (8-7) now join Buena Vista (10-4) with playoff spots in the Iowa Conference tournament. Dubuque (7-7) sits in sole possession of fifth place, while Wartburg (6-8) and Central (6-8) share sixth. Coe (5-9) and Luther (2-12) remain the bottom two IIAC teams.
The best finish that the Knights can attain in conference play is 8-8, given they win Wednesday at UD and can top Buena Vista at home on Saturday.
Wartburg
The Orange and Black were off on Saturday and enter Wednesday looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The Knights are second in the Iowa Conference in team field goal percentage (.471). Individually in IIAC stat rankings, sophomore Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) is ranked fifth in field goal percentage (.550), junior Nate Woeste (Atkins) is sixth in free throw percentage (.844) and senior Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) is ranked eighth in scoring (16.2 points per game).
Dubuque
Dubuque is coming off Saturday's 89-83 upset over Nebraska Wesleyan. The Spartans have three players that average double digits including Jamaree Atwater (16.3 points per game), TJ Lake (16.2) and Jake Weber (15.9). The team averages 77.7 points per game and allows 77.6 points by opponents on average.
