HOLLAND, Mich.-- It was a tale of two halves in Wartburg's 80-69 loss to Augustana (Ill.) in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen game Friday. The Knights held the slim lead at 36-33 as the Vikings hit a three at the buzzer going into halftime.

Augustana used a strong second half and outscored Wartburg 47-33. The score was tied at 49 all with 10:04 to play and the Vikings went on a 6-0 run over the next two minutes and never relinquished the lead for the duration of the game.
The Knights came within nine with 1:53 and 1:27 to go.
Senior Jordan Cannon (Bollingbrook, Ill.) led all scorers with 17 points and co-led the team with five rebounds. Junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) joined him in double digits with 13 points.
Highlights
The Orange and Black end the season 21-10 overall and wrote their names into the program's record books with this historic run in the NCAA Tournament.
