MEQUON, Wis.-- The Wartburg volleyball team (10-2 overall) won both matches Friday in sweeping fashion in the first half of the IIAC/NAAC Crossover Challenge.

The Knights swept Edgewood and later Dominican (Ill.) 

Against the Eagles, senior Aryn Jones (Marion) led all hitters with 10 kills and classmate Maria Brown (Peosta) had 12 assists. Junior Lizzy Blough (Dike) had six kills a team-best three service aces.

Edgewood hit .000 on the match as the Orange and Black held every team advantage.

Against Dominican, Blough had a team-high 13 kills and Jones followed with 11. Brown had a double-double with 16 assists and 11 digs.

For the second-straight match, Wartburg held its opponent to a .000 team hitting percentage.

The Knights will face Aurora and host-Concordia Wisconsin Saturday.
