WAVERLY, Iowa--In their Iowa Conference opener, the Wartburg women's soccer team (5-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 IIAC) tied Coe (8-0-2, 0-0-1 IIAC), 1-1 in 2OT Saturday.
The Knights' junior Nicole Adair (Reinbeck) netted the game's first goal on a header from senior Morgan Neuendorf (Plainfield).
Senior goalkeeper Beth Crow (North Liberty) tallied 11 saves on the game.
Wartburg held the advantages in shots (26-19) and corner kicks (10-4).
The Orange and Black return to action tomorrow in Waverly against St. Olaf at 4 p.m.
