WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg women's soccer team (2-0-0 overall) travel to Abilene, Texas to face No. 8 Hardin Simmons University (2-0-0) on Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. and Mary Hardin-Baylor (1-0-0) on Sept. 9 at 11 a.m.

Wartburg 
Junior Nicole Adair (Reinbeck), senior Alyssa Christopher (Reinbeck), freshmen Kate Motzko (Cedar Falls) and senior Morgan Neuendorf (Plainfield) all lead the team in goals with one each. Neuendorf has the lone assist for the Knights. In goal, senior Beth Crow (North Liberty) has recorded two shutouts.

No. 8 Hardin-Simmons University
Kenne Kessler is the top scorer for Hardin-Simmons with two goals. Kessler and Kami Jones each have one assist. Keeper Caitlin Christiansen has one shutout. HSU received the No. 8 ranking in the preseason Top 25 poll.

Mary Hardin-Baylor
Top scorer for the Crusaders is Taylor Marques with two goals. Sarah Rempe, Madison Link and Caitlyn Shaughnessy each have one assist. In goal, Emmy Mc Maude and Cassidi Musser have allowed one goal.
