WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's basketball team (12-7 overall, 5-5 IIAC) travels to face Buena Vista (15-5, 8-3) Wednesday at 8 p.m. BV is one of three teams tied for first and the Knights are tied for fifth on the conference standings.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 82-59, which includes the last three straight. The Knights won 85-65 in the first meeting of the season, earlier this month on Jan. 15.

Wartburg
Three Knights average in double digits as junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) leads the team at 15.5 PPG. Seniors Nate Woeste (Atkins) and Sawyer Herman (Monticello)  follow at 11.8 and 11.7, respectively.

Sabus also has a team-high 5.8 rebounds/game. He is now the conference's sixth-leading scorer at 17.2 PPG, and the leader in three-point field goal percentage (.654).

Career Leader List Watch
Woeste is tied for 24th with his 1,131 points, tied for eighth with 121 three-point field goals, seventh with 110 steals, and fourth with 346 free throws.

Buena Vista
Three players average in double figures as David Jeffries leads the team with 15.2 PPG. Thomas Wisecup follows at 12.7, and Billy Sparks completes the leading scorers at 11.6.

Wisecup also leads the team on the glass with 6.7 rebounds/game.

The Knights rank 38^th in personal fouls per game (15.5), 50^th in fewest fouls (294), 69^th in free throw attempts (433), 81^st in free throws made (301).
 
Individually, two Knights rank in the top 100 of two statistical categories: Woeste ranks 77^th in free-throw percentage (84.4), and Sabus ranks 84^th in field-goal percentage (55.4).
