WAVERLY, Iowa—The No. 13 Wartburg men's basketball team (10-2 overall, 3-0 IIAC) travels to face Coe (5-7, 1-2), Saturday, Jan. 6 at 4 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the advantage in the all-time series against the Kohawks, 41-22. The Orange and Black won both of last season's meetings, 70-66 and 68-60, respectively.

The Knights are led by three players averaging double digits: junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) nets 15.3 points per game, senior Sawyer Herman (Monticello) averages 13.3 and senior Nate Woeste (Atkins) score 11.2 points per game. Junior Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) has a team-high 29 assists on the season.

On the defensive side of the ball, Sabus leads the team in rebounds, averaging 6.9 grabs per game. Freshman Max Smith Drahos has a team-high 19 steals, with junior Josh Gehling (Dyersville) tallying seven blocks on the season.

Coe
Coe's offense is led by Spencer Williams, who averages a team-best 13 points per game. Tommy Hook and Nolan Timp also average double-digit points with 11.4 and 10.3, respectively. Trevor Haaland has a team-best 55 assists on the season.

Defensively, Williams averages a team-high 5.8 rebounds per game. Hook averages 4.2. Zach Schlabaugh has tallied 13 steals on the season and Michael Packard has recorded 12 blocks.

Wartburg ranks in the top 100 of nine statistical categories, which the NCAA released Monday.
 
The Knights rank 11th in personal fouls per game (14.6), 27th in won-lost percentage (81.8), 32nd in three-point field goal defense (29.5), 35th in field-goal percentage defense (39.6), 52nd in fewest fouls (161), 64th in scoring defense (69.1), 72nd in defensive rebounds per game (29.27), 75th in three-point field-goal percentage (37.9), and 78th in field-goal percentage (47.6).
 
Individually, three Knights rank in the top 100 of four statistical categories: Woeste ranks 40th in free-throw percentage (89.1) and 65th in free throws made (49), Herman ranks 41st in three-point field-goal percentage (46.9), and Sabus ranks 89th in field-goal percentage (56.4).
